Seed Bank
Keywords: Urban Renewal, Ruins, Historical District
In a historical district, students transformed an existing ruin into a Seed Bank where farmers can buy, preserve or sell the seeds needed to start a new harvest. Emphasis was placed on how to engage the existing structure constructively / materially and how this approach promotes opportunities for public engagement and an appropriate contemporary intervention.
